Something a little odd has been in our backyard for the past couple of days.

Well, it looks like a Racoon but it smells like a Casper. Tee hee hee.

My brother has a bit of an eye infection or maybe a blocked tearduct so he has to have eyedrops everyday which makes him look like racoon eyes! I tell him he does not need to put his makeup on everyday. Casper is really grumpy because I call him a racoon. He gets so mad at me and I have to cop his DONT MESS WITH ME I'M A NINJA move.

Sand pit

Hi everyone, I hope your Christmas was as fun as ours. We got a new sand pit for Christmas! I played in it until my skin itched like mad and I couldn't stop scratching. I kept on getting yelled at SCOOBY! GET OUT OF THERE! but I don't care. This is MY pit and I can do what I like!

Crappy daybed

Hello everyone - we are still alive....BUT...



We need a new daybed...AGAIN!
I think this is crappy brand because this one barely lasted 6 months.

Haircut

Since it is now spring time Mom decided she needed to get rid of that winter hair that has been keeping us warm.

We went for a haircut at our favourite groomer.

Now we are nice and neat. (and that's dad telling us to pose!)

Finally, this I thought I'd check that casper's nose is clean....

Orchids are yummy!

Hi everyone,

I know I haven't updated in a while. Well, we have been doing lots of things. Casper just completed his first level of obedience class. I sometimes tag along and I will post pictures of that soon!

But first of all I just wanted to say that orchids are yummy...well, I HEARD they are yummy. Here are some that Mom saved when she woke up one morning and found the pot overtuned and the beautiful buds all over the garden. I tried to tell her the neighbour's cat did it but she did not believe me and instead wanted to play a game of chase...it was 7am in the morning! Geez it was too early mom! Well, Casper and I won because she could not catch us...hehhehe...

Pretty (ahem...Yummy!) flowers....if you look closely you can see that SOMEONE has been playing with them and bruised the edges...these are the ones that mom managed to save.

Uuuhhhhhhh.....

Somehow I don't think Mom and Dad believed us when we told them our day bed dieded and the neighbour's cat did it.

Swimming pool water is yuck!

Hello all,

I finally got to drink lots of swimming pool water...and it is YUCKY YUCKY!

I got to go along with Casper when he went to the physio and while he was walking in the underwater treadmill I got thrown in the pool...ok, maybe I am exaggerating a little but I did drink lots of pool water..ptui ptui!

What's going on here!

They put that little yellow lifejacket on me, maybe I look good in yellow after all.

Hey Mom, stop taking photos can't you see I am drowning!

Well, at least my diet is working because I didn't sink to the bottom of the pool.

After we finished swimming they put that stupid noisy hairdryer on me!

I think Casper is actually enjoying it.

Casper is such a suck!

For those of you who want to know how he is, he is doing pretty good after his operation. He is limping a lot less now, only when he has been on the move for a while will he show signs of tiredness and drag his leg or hop on three legs. Apart from that he is starting to walk normally and can trot, as opposed to hopping all the time like he did before the operation.

Mom and Dad decided to torture him further by enrolling him at obedience class...let's just say he finds it a bit stressful. Hiak Hiak Hiak.....

Casper's BIG DAY OUT

Hello everyone,

It's now really cold and wet on most days and I am having a hard time staying clean. I think Mom has sort of given up on bathing us because we get dirty almost immediately.

For those that want an update on Casper, this weekend was his first visit to the physio - yes even us doggies have doggie physios!

It's been a month since Casper had his operation and he seems to be able to use his leg but we cannot go for very longs walkies like we used to because Casper starts limping halfway - so walkie time is now very short - where we used to go for 45 mins now we only go for about 20 mins. And we have to walk V-E-R-Y-S-L-O-W-L-Y as Mr Vet said that we have to start getting Casper to use his sick leg!

Anyway I was left behind while Casper went to see the physio but Mom showed me the photos when they got back.

When he arrived he told me he played around with the physio but she made him stand up on his hind legs constantly and then after a while he said that his leg started to hurt so he stopped...until she gave him some yummies! which made him stand up to reach the yummies again but this time he said he cheated! He stood up on his hind legs but put more weight on the good leg. See my brother is not so dumb! Afterward he said she massaged his leg until it got sore again, then he was put in a underwater treadmill so that he could do a S-L-O-W walk under water.

After about 2 x 5 mins session on the treadmill he got to go swimming!!

Checking out his life vest - I wonder if I'd look as good in yellow as he does. Mom says she will take me swimming next week. I hope I don't sink like a pebble to the bottom of the pool!

After he finished up he says he almost got blown away by a BIG hairdryer which was loud and noisy. GRRRrrr...I HATE loud and noisy things. If they try using that dryer on me I'm going to ATTACK and KILL it!

Well that was Casper's big day out and hopefully next week I will also get some swimming lessons and check out whether that yellow looks good on me.

Casper's BIG OUCH!

Hello everyone,

Yesterday Casper went for his BIG operation. He came home doped up and mom said he looks really stoned. HA HA. Well I tried to cheer him up but he was really grouchy AND didn't want to play at all. In fact he chased me out of the house when I tried to comfort him! What a grumpy bum. I got scolded by mom and dad for disturbing him. So now they are going to send me off to Aunty P's for a couple of days so that Casper has a couple of days of R & R.
