What we did over the weekend

Mom is very pleased with herself. As some of you may know, there are water restrictions in place due to the drought in Australia. Well, this weekend Mom did her washing and managed to recycle the water twice!

While washing clothes she decided to wash our blankets at the same time, so when the water was being piped out of the machine she filled up a tub with the used water, dumped our blankets in and scrubbed and scrubbed, then watered the lawn with the extra dirty water. She then waited for the next cycle of water to be pumped out and used that to rinse out of blankets and then water the lawn again. Casper and I tasted some of the water and it was YUCK! “Ptooi Ptooi”

In the end rather than drinking it we decided to help Mom. Here is Casper doing his bit to help out.
